Our Team

In our lab, there is a consistent balance of Indigenous and non-Indigenous trainees and staff who often come with varied disciplinary backgrounds. The one quality we all share is a deep passion for community engaged research.

Emphasizing community immersion, we spend significant time within Indigenous spaces at Western University, such as the Indigenous Learning Space, engaging in research activities and social interactions such as sports, cultural events, and shared meals
